Half Life issues

Half Life (Pal version) has static noises all the time and when I load a saved game (made in HDL) it kind of locks up and the screen goes all jaggy and blurry. Has anyone experienced this problem and found a fix?

Half-Life (but NTSC)

Incompatible: Fails to install. Can be installed via PC, but even then it has some sound issues.

That doesn't help because I did install it via PC and am using HDL 0.8c but it still won't work properly.

it didn't help you because it's telling to delete it and reinstall via PC to at least get it running even though it's got patchy sound

I think you misunderstand. The static problem I described is what is described in that entry, minus the jaggies on loading. The game itself starts fine.

well, how in the hell are we supposed to help you? you gave zero detail. reminds me of badcrew all over again. Oh wait, I still haven't forgotten about you having the same IP as him at the same time.
