Game runs and actually loads pretty quick. The problem is that the audio in the in game cut scenes is not synced up... like a full 5 second gap. Makes for really confusing stories because it loads the next scene without finishing the audio. Tried all modes to fix it with no sucess.

Sounds like a job for mode1. Give it a shot.

yeah, slowing hd access seemed like the perfect fix. too bad it had no effect.

game freezes for me, at one of the headhunt missions, just get black screen

Have you tried the MDMA patch? It slows down the access speed of the hard drive. It's a fix for Soul Calibur 3 and Fatal Frame 2 & 3. You can find it at ps2hd.

So... will the MDMA fix make the game load only as fast as from the DVD, or just slow enough so the audio is fixed?

The MDMA fix is a bit slower than reading from the DVD, but it might give you better results. Can't test it right now since I don't have the game.

so anyone tried the mdma fix?
I got general problems with the game: it hangs on first titel screen!

and that not only from hd also from dvd it hangs at the same point.
I got a 2,81 GB (3.021.307.904 Bytes) iso 100% crc ok and burned it 2 times with nero on 4x (one time direct iso burn one time mounted with daemon) same dvd-r brand as always ,
Tried transfering as I do always (via hdlgui 2.1), and booting with different modes.And it still hangs at title. All other games work as they should.
Even tried it without MC, HD, and second controller from dvd..

Maybe its my old magic ice?
or it has something do with the machine id (I changed it to multi region)?!

Anyone else got problems booting this up?
Any ideas on this?

The game (Gun pal version) Frezees and black screen.Same result in MDMA mode

mine runs fine most of the time, But if I fail a mission the game will freeze at the retry screen. no black screen, just freezes. And a few times it has froze during the game play.

I had an old hdloader version, just changed to the 0.7c version. Same thing. Went in and turn on all options(not looked into them yet to see what they all do yet) and same freaking thing......
