gt4 confused

hey guys
im like totally confused with trying to get gt4 to work with my hdloader.
what i know is that anytime i load a game on to my hd i sometimes have to come to this forum and find out what mode to set them at(which if anyone can give me a link to the chart for all or most of the games would be great)..
now i see that i have to patch from my pc to hd .........thats where i get confused cause thats new to me so if someone has 5 or 10 minutes and can help me out to what i have to do starting from scratch if possible

well wit the NEW hdl (patched) u can just make an ISO image wit DVD decrytor, then go send it to ur hdd wit WINHIIP

b4 witout the patch, u had to patch it wit the dsm tool or toxic wateva lol

heres what i did:

get untouched hdl elf file and uncompress with sjuncrunch

hex edit address 0x111C from 06 1A 04 0C to 00 00 00 00 that stops the ps2 from crashing at splash (Zero-x patch never works for me)

hex edit address 0x1488 from 2E 01 04 0C to 00 00 00 00 (removes the copy right information)

run hdl patch and apply 48bit patch (this also decryptes hdl)

hex edit address 0xAAC4C from 01 00 to 25 02 (God of War fix)

applied the dual layered patch to the elf

then put in a custom back image with HdlCngV6

make a dvd decrypter image of GT4

put the drive in the pc and start winhiip 1.7.3 and select the mds file to install the image

put the hd in the ps2 and load the game

why all the trouble..get dvddecrypter, ge the latest hdloader..make the image using dvddecrypter tehn transfer the image usng winhiip...the latest 1.7.3 have fun
