    Hello everybody!
I've searched this forum, but all I found was references to sonix website :(

    HDLoader 0.8b (latest)
God of War NTSC - original disc
    Uploaded it with latest HDL_DUMB (0.8.6 - client, 0.8.5 - server)

Everything worked flawlessly up until the 'pandora box' level. It just froze when Kratos jumped onto Kronos.
I've searched a lot and found out that there's problem with 'second layer' of this DVD9 disc. So - how can I fix it? Can I do it with modes? I also found some references to 'Sonix GOW patch' but this webpage (www backuptools co uk) isn't working :(((
Is there a way for me to get past this freeze point?

P.S. I uploaded image made by DVDdecrypter and I still have it available.

Thank you very much in advance!

Try and upload it again using winhiip, works fine for me with no modes selected.

    Your disc image is fine.

This problem is due to a longstanding bug in HDL_Dumb. Sometimes it'll screw up DVD9 images during transfer.

Transfer it with HDL_DumP from the command line and the game will work fine.

    thanks! i'll try hdl_dump today.

as for other messages - winhiip is problem for me, cause i only have laptop, and no hdd enclosure.
and my ps2 dvd/cd drive works only when ps2 is in vertical postition which i think isn't good for hdd at all. sometimes it even refuses to boot up, beeping some sounds....

if it doesnt boot up in the verticle position your ps2 or your hdd is a "low quality" (my opionion). i haven't had any problems with my hdd in that position, as with many of the pc's i have fixed with it that way. If your hdd doesnt fit then it isnt good for it (like the segate size that the origional xbox has) Just dont bang it around, otherwise check to see if the hdd is all connected right, or if a pin is loose or somthin.

yeah, my guess is that in vertical position hdd might just loose connection or something like that. so i just start it in vertical and then gently put it in horizontal.

p.s. tried hdl_dump - everything works! thanks again everybody. especially - peepoop!
