Can someone tell me what the boot file is for this game? When I load the image with winHiip it doesn't automatically show up like it usually does...
look in the system.cnf file on the game disc, that'll tell you.
BOOT2 = cdrom0:\FILENAME;1
VER = 1.00
VMODE = NTSC
this is what the system.cnf file looks like where it says FILENAME that is the file too point winHiip to
My winhipp doesn't find the boot file either, but the system.cnf has the following:
BOOT2 = cdrom0:\SLUS_209.01;1
VER = 1.01
VMODE = NTSC
And what mode should I enable to play it from hd?
Mine says the same, so I placed that SLUS and tried to run off HD, nothing!!! I think you might have the wrong version, i think it might be a rip, because i know the PAL version is 4 gig and mine is under 2 gig???
It works 100% for me with mode 3 when installed directly from my retail disc. Also, hdloader reports it as 1gb so the scene release is infact a full image and not a rip.
The boot file doesn't show up for me either. I think the scene rls is screwed
The game didn't work for me till I rebuilt the image. After that winhiip recognized the bootfile and everything loaded fine.
How and what did you use to rebuild the image???
I extracted everything with isobuster and then threw it all into cdgen, named the volume SLUS_20901 and saved.
