FFX freezes during first fmv - when Tidus is in the water, opening his eyes, then there is some kind of electric ball, and the fmv is freezing. Ive tested a few HDL modes and MDMA. But with same result :/
FFX should be compatible without any modes.
How to fix this? Is it happening only to me?

    My spec:
    V13 PAL PS2
    FMCB 1.8
    HDL v0.8c
Final Fantasy X disc is PAL and original (not copy)

EDIT: I have reinstalled the game and now it works
Any ideas why the game had this problem?

I was using WinHiip and installing from original DVD.

has to be either the disc, computer, or ps2 since it's compatible with HDL. All versions.

some models behave weird on certain games, but they don't crash - the strangest issue so far was with ff12

when i changed my console from v4 to v10/v11 movies in ff12 suddenly started displaing in a "letterbox" with big black borders to the left and right.

as far as ffx is concerned i have german ffx and english ffx. both are international versions and they work fine.
