final fantasy X-2 with HDL 0.8c

hey guys couldn't find a clear answer on this but does final fantasy X-2 work i have been trying for hours to get it going but no luck. i seen that mode 3 enabled will get it to work but i have tried that and still no go. is there a patch i have to apply to the game or something? cause all my other games work.

rip the game with IMGBurn. Install it with Winhiip 1.7.6. Enable mode 3. play. nothing more to it.
