At present all known patches that are applied to the ISO file will result in FMV flickers and stutters, regardless of which FF12 version we're talking about.

The german patch is, but the french patch seems bugged. It refers to one of the points corresponding to the 'Jevahose' patch but also to two points that are not usually patched. I would not trust this patch myself, unless presented with an explanation for those weird patch locations.

Possibly 'MaPomme' can explain this, as his signature is in that PPF.

Yes. The codes I made for the Italian version will also work with either of the French, German and Spanish versions, as the ELFs of those versions are nearly identical (only six bytes differ between them).

I assume 'sniper mod' does not have any Dev1 boot mode, so you'll need to make a boot CD. I suggest basing it on uLaunchELF, and use that program to run the cracked CodeBreaker ELF from whatever place you wish (the same CD, or a USB drive, or a PFS partition on the HDD, or whatever). Then you set up and activate cheats as normal for CodeBreaker and proceed to start game, but instead of inserting a game disc you insert the HDA 3 disc. Finally you use HDA to start up the game whose cheats you activated in CB. That game will then run with the CB cheats active.

I never made, and probably will never make, any ppf patch.

Please read the thread. The patch I have made includes the hexa values and the offsets to change. And this patch is OK.
