For some reason fight night round 3 wont detect my official ps2 dualshock controller. It's not the kind that comes with the ps2 (black), but one of the earlier ones for ps1 (grey). Is that suppose to be normal? Anyone know if its the same thing for fight night round 2?

Have you tried swapping the controllers over? Does it detect it in the P1 port?

ya i tried that, it has nothing to do with the ports. It seems its the controller itself. I just dont see why EA would do that.....as far i can tell the controllers have identical functions they only differ aesthetically.

cause fight night requires analog buttons, which the ps1 dualshock lacks.

what he said. dualshock 2 is pressure sensitive. ps1 conrollers aren't, and the game requires pressure sensitivity, like MCG2 did.

whoa now miss, you need to take it down a notch.
perhaps if you had mentioned something at all about hdl to begin with it wouldn't be so vague.
