Anyone try this with HDL?
It should work with the mdma patched hdloader
It works perfectly with the mdma patched hdloader. It also works with version 0.7c but sound gets kinda mad sometimes though you can sort of arrange it by pressing start twice. A bit annoying so you know what to do... use the mdma patch!.
whats mdma?
yeah, riddle me stupid, but I also don't know what mdma is. Can someone put a link to the explanation about this. I'll do a search now.
Using 0.7c patched for MDMA, I just got the game to hang when playing film reels on a film projector you come across later on. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the game and hdloader or just my hard drive giving me problems.
Just in case, anyone trying to use the film projector should probably save first.
i used the projector with no problems though i think you´re right, it freezed once in that place, but it was ok next time .Originally Posted by Vulkan
MDMA is hdloader 0.7c patched for slower acces to the hard drive, it is the most recent version that i would advise everyone to use though apparently is exactly the same as version 0.7c, but it´s not. You can find it at PS2HD.COM.
I wish those responsible would release HDLPatch 0.7d already with an option for MDMA/DMA mode patching. It's about time.
You can't option MDMA unless you can somehow do a preloader for HDL. There's a big discussion on it.
I don't mean an option for MDMA, I mean adding a new switch to HDLPatch for applying MDMA0 or not. Simple as that.
OK, maybe I'm just too lazy to hex patch HDLoader myself, but I always thought this was the original intention of HDLPatch, with the emphasis on "PATCH". ;-)
