So yeah i got the memory card exploit on his card, and we tried to boot it up on his ps2. it just freezes at the white flash.
I've tried it on my japanese ps2 with the same trigger disk, and it works fine. Any suggestions?

there was 1 version of the ps2 jap that doesnt work with the exploit
in that case,,,too bad for your friend.
ask him to hang around at your place more often :P
Well for starters, japand us ps2s require a different directory name to place the exploit in. Assuming you've got that right, and have it on memory card 1, try it on a different jap ps2 and make sure it works.
It also coudl be that the exploit is looking in the wrong directory to try and find boot.elf and then it will work on NO japanese ps2s. TO fix that, make also a US system directory, and place boot.elf in there as well.
You missed some vital info in the original post.Quote:
