I also tried making a ISO of the game with Ultraiso and I get an error message stating that I do not have enough disc space. I tried to use Nero to make a ISO Image but it reads invalid on Winhiip.

It seems that you are out of space on your computer, make sure you have at least 8.5 Gig free on the drive you are doing this on. You can download either IMGBURN or DVD Decrypter to rip the iso image if you have not by now
I did this:
- download ... i mean ripped ISO
- extracted files with Apache 3
- opened ISO with ISOBUSTER and saved FILELIST.TXT in the extracted folder (right click on the small red ISO icon select Directory tree and file information then select List tree-info (in text file) then select LBA,relative path),
- moved MAIN_3, 4, and 5 .ARK to GEN folder
- edited FILELIST.TXT and added lines for MAIN_3, 4, and 5 .ARK, with the same LBA listed in APACHE 3 and same path of MAIN_2.ARK
- Opened CDGenPS2 and selected Import Tree File,ISOBuster from the Advanced menu. Selected FILELIST.TXT from the game folder. Used LBA, no fix or something.
- Saved the image
That´s it...
That did it! Thanks. I did rip my own DVD though, I have two PS2s so need one on the HD
I ripped the game with DVD Decrypter, Transferred to HDLoader, Extracted it onto my desktop from HDLoader later. Every progra I try to use gets an error message halfway through, like UltraIso says not enough space, even though I have plenty on my computer, and cdgenps2 says write file error when I loaderd the tree file or whatever the guy above said to do. What am I doing wrong?
Damn...
Sorry everyone..
Guess I should of posted this 2 weeks ago when I first figured this out..
Anyways yes the ISO must be rebuild into 1 layer to make it work with HDLoader..
Remember once your done rebuilding the ISO and install it to HDLoader~to turn on MODE 2 (disable DVD9 Support) as this is needed sents the image is over 4.7GBs and will fail to read if the mode is not turned on with in HDL's config. settings...
Take note that I used ISOBuster (to exstract layers 1 & 2) and CDGen v3.0 (to recompile the image) to save as a .BIN file..
Then just converted the .BIN in to an ISO throu UltraISO..
Later,
Civic/Scooter
Ya Im Bi-Poler and proud of it
just wanted to make easier a little ..CDGen can also save as ISO ..and also WinHIIP 1.7.6 can also install CUE/BIN Imgaes ..Take note that I used ISOBuster (to exstract layers 1 & 2) and CDGen v3.0 (to recompile the image) to save as a .BIN file..
Then just converted the .BIN in to an ISO throu UltraISO..
Any Info on how to rebuild the game into one layer?
look at posts above
Now the only question is how to resize the game. Rock Band 1 was resized to fit on a DVD5 by re-encoding videos.
I looked at hex of some of the ARK files and found a lot of MPEG files encoded with TMPGEnc Xpress. It is probably possible to re-encode and replace. The game more than likely reads the ARK file format as opposed to reading file offsets.
