hello,
since its holidays and stuff i dug out my old ps2 with a hdd and connected it all up and downloaded some new games for the kids including the ones mentioned above.
I found out once trying to put them on my hdd i had a problem thru hdloader menu, dora gave me like 5kb/s copy speed and ice age 3 hdloader said it couldnt detect disk. I found this really fruasrating as my kids loved the games and i didnt wanna compromise the laser in my ps2. is there some way they could b put on the hdd and are they compatible with hdloader 0.8c.

Quick and dirty tutorial......
Put the game in your PC, rip it to the PC with IMGBurn.
Connect the HDD to the PC, by either USB enclosure, or direct IDE.
And use WINHIIP, to transfer the game .ISO to the HDD.

I guess you didn't read the OP post very closely.
Holiday spirit is all well and good, and I do hope the kids have a good time, but if we are to implement the site rules at all, then we must do it equally for all. Even when it affects anxious parents who just try to do something nice for the kids.
The phrase "downloaded some new games for the kids" simply isn't acceptable here, given our hardline policy against piracy.
I'm not saying he should be banned or anything like that, but he needs to learn the rules of the site and follow them like everyone else.

I guess I could have phrased that better, as ( an original game ) one that he owns.
It is very true, the talk of downloaded ( pirated games ) is illegal, and will not be allowed to be discussed in this forum..

It's OK, but not really........ We have to be careful of discussions, such as those, as it put this site in violation of copyright laws, and could shut us down, and we ( admin, mods ) can not allow that to happen.
