Does any one know if the PS2 version of Burnout Revenge supports LAN play? I was disapointed that I could only play Burnout 3 via split screen off my Hard Drives.

There is no LAN support. Only ONLINE play.
If you have both PS2 on the internet then you can play like LAN.
Try Xlink maybe there is support for LAN.
The point to wanting to be able to play it over a lan is that I could install it on the Hard Drive and still play it. That way I only have to buy one copy of the game. The X-Box version Supports LAN why couldn't they have put it in the PS2 version as well. It isn't like the PS2 is incapable of having a LAN. Gran Turismo 4 had LAN support.
do any of the games that support LAN work off the hard drive though? likewise, are there any of the games that work online w/o dnas, or patched, that work off the hard drive?
i'd wager lan a better chance, with firewire instead of going thru the bba and all, but still...is there a list somewhere?
Gran Turismo 4, ATV Off Road Furry and a few other racing games support playing over a LAN and can be played off of a Hard Drive. Most games only allow for playing over the internet though which you can't do if you are playing off of the Hard Drive.
also you must be using patched hd loader to use lan
So we can now play games online that support lan?(sorry, been out of the hdloader scene for awhile) Can we play any game that supports lan or only a few like those racing games?
Can't you read? the guy said

xbox got no lan mode...where did u get that from....
Several people I asked said that the Xbox version supported playing useing a System Link. Basically directly connecting 2 Xboxs to gether the same way Halo supported the feature. They may have not had a clue about what they were talking about though for all I know.
