    it comes out today (8/15)

    does it also have the same hdd code that the jap version has?

    does the us version work with hdl?

    as you already mentioned yourself, its released just today. and neither sony nor square will come around this board and tell us in advance. give it some time, till someone gets his hands on it and tests it .

    i can confirm the usa version is working with no modes enabled. so far so good =D

    btw im using the latest hdl patch

    finally a good game that works.

    i was woried that it might not work cause they said the jap version doesn't work.

    It works most likely because they removed the online portion which required the hdd.

    maybe we could compare the jap and the us release.
    we could try to find the hdd code from the jap release and see how they removed/replaced it in the us release.


    i heard the jap release of ffx has the hdd code and that squeare enix removed the hdd code on the us release of ffx.

    maybe if we see how they removed the hdd code on both games then maybe we could make a patch to remove hdd codes from any games.
