I can confirm it working with no modes with hdl 0.7c.

I installed it straight from my retail copy.

The sound glitches dont happen while playing from the disc. Use mode 1 to fix it.

Sort've new to all this. I've been using the HDAdvance for a month or two without a problem. Recently, I put this game on the HD. Burned with a NU writer, onto SONY DVDRs. The game plays great, up until the second mission of Santa Madesto[sp?] I reburned at a faster speed, and got the same error on the level loading the save. Any ideas? It's a 4 gig+ image.

if you wanna save just under 2GB on your hdd, then here's the iml/ims files to rebuild the game with.

    you'll just need gnie's dvd-iml2iso rebuilder (or apache2).

[short instructions for those who've never done this before]

extract all files from the disc to a folder (i.e. C:\DAH)

then extact the iml/ims files from the attachment here to the same directory.

run dvd-iml2iso, select the folder which you want to save the .iso file to, and select the .iml file with the [...] button and press start. when it's done, just install the .iso with winhiip or hdl_dump.

    [short apache2 instructions]

extract all files from the disc to a folder (i.e. C:\DAH)

then extact the iml/ims files from the attachment here to the same directory.

run apache2, select File->Import IML file. once that's done select File->Save as ISO. when it's done, just install the .iso with winhiip or hdl_dump.

Patched and installed the ISO with HDAdvance. Freezes at the Pandemicolor screen. Should I switch to HDloader?

    patch? what patch?

this game does not require a patch.

all i can tell you is, at least in my case, it works shrunk or not with no modes on HDL running with hdl patch v0.7c. i don't know about any other knock off's of or original version of HDLoader.

Sorry for being a newbie. I just downloaded HDL from here [sksapps] and tried to get it to read the disc. No luck. Says it's an invalid ps2 disc. Should I be using a modchip? I also used a swapmagic v.3 to load HDL7.

i don't know what version you're trying to load etc. i don't load with swap magic. mine is run from the memory card or hdd. hard to say what problem it is that you're having.

although, if you're using swap magic discs, your disc should load up (if you burned it correctly). and no, you don't need a modchip
