multiplayer doesn't work because it's in different elf (mp.bin) and when mode 3 is enabled, game can't run any external exec (elf) files. will try edition system.cnf file later
It freezed on me upon autosaving after finishing the first level. Looks like it's the same problem as Big Red One... In that case resetting after save is complete should enable you to start the next level without any problems.
Yep, I tried it and it works. It's a bit tedious having to reset after each level but I suppose it's bearable. (mode 3 enabled btw)
At least it freezes after saving not before!
It has frozen on me when I try to quit to the main menu during a mission as well.
So careful doing that.
Kidman I will try that system.cnf as well. You just selecting that instead of the SLUS?
yeah, at least i plan to do so:)
Try this method...works for Call of Duty 2
1)Replace the DNAS300.IMG file in the Call of Duty Iso with the IOPR300.IMG file from another game (I used Burnout Revenge as Hejira said). Rename IOPR300.IMG to DNAS300.IMG
2) Rebuild with CDGENPS2/CDVDGEN. I rebuilt with CDGENPS2 using LBA of 12231 for System file. If the iso says the new DNAS300.IMG is not correct size, hex edit 00000 at the end until the file is the same size or larger than the original DNAS300.IMG file
3. THIS IS IMPORTANT...Use HDLoader version 0.7c! I have found that it doesnt work with the new 0.8 versions (that was my sticking point) and USE NO MODES!
Is this method to stop the freezing in CoD 2 after saves? I understand your instructions except "hex edit 00000 at the end until the file is the same size or larger than the original DNAS300.IMG file". I use WinHex, I am willing to try out another method too if recommended. Thank youQuote:
