I have tried for 2 months to get PAL Twinsanity working off hdd but to no avail. I have applied patches and edited hex values but the black screen of death is all i ever get.

These are the instructions i have followed for hex editing.

Open the SLES/SCES file into hexeditor and search for the following hex value 0C 00 00 00 00 70. Should be around the same spot as in the US-version. Change the 70 to 02 and just 4 bytes from that is the 40 which is replaced with 00.

Then search for 03 AE 2D E8 60 00. You should only find 3 of those and change every one of them to 03 AE 00 00 00 00.

i think it's just an incompatible game.
Theres just some games (ngbc,sotc,dbz:t,and xenosaga II to an extent) that just don't work on hdloader yet.

It works (pal version), i thought there was a fix somewhere in the forums, i don't know anymore how i did it, but it works for me. If i find it i will post it here.

I found this maybe it wil work for the pal version;

Crash Twinsanity
In SLUS_209.09 patch:

1. offset 0x1069 from 70 to 02
2. offset 0x106d from 40 to 00
3. offset 0x1af04c from 2d e8 60 00 to 00 00 00 00
4. offset 0x1af11c from 2d e8 60 00 to 00 00 00 00
5. offset 0x1af6c0 from 2d e8 60 00 to 00 00 00 00

apply the uab patch and play.

Note, this patch is very ugly and may cause problems, but the small bit I tested worked fine.

my SLUS is 256.68 does this matter ?

i dont have the pal version but i did get it to work of the hdd. the only thing it that it crashes after u beat croko-dingo guy (dont remember what he is really called)
