backups for hdd –
my question is i was thinking of buying a new 200 gig hd for my playstation 2. i had a 160 gig hd before but it took a crap on me. i'm using a 40 gig hd right now.i don't really feel like putting out 100 dollars for the new hd so i was wondering if i backup the iso images to dvds can i use those dvds to install the iso image back to the hd at a later time that way it does't take up to much space on my pc's hd. i use win**** to transfer all my games to my hd. please let me know. if this question wasn't clear enough to understand let me know so i can re word it thanks.
You should be able to do that. Transfer the iso files from you PS2 HDD using whatever program you use. Then burn them to DVDRs as backups. The isos are in PS2 format, so you should be able to burn them. I'd suggest DVD Decrypter, but to each his own. Good luck! Also I'd suggest getting a larger HDD, but that's just me.
