Hi, i had the same problem starting this game (PAL) from HD.
After i disabled the network, and enabled DVD9 support, the game works fine!!
I am using the latest HDL.. (GPHD).
So, try it - and good luck!

What did you do? What you tell me here does not work for me :-(
Please double check your settings
I now tried to pick the image apart and I am only able to extract 3.5 GB of data from the image file...
the image is 3.9GB mounted:Code:/tmp/ATV.Offroad.Fury.4.PAL.MULTi5.PS2DVD9_.iso
3.9G 3.9G 0 100% /dvd
The one who made the image fux0red up.Code:# isosize /tmp/ATV.Offroad.Fury.4.PAL.MULTi5.PS2DVD9_.iso

Does anyone here have a Linux box and the original DVD9? If so please do the following:Then there should be a perfect image for HDLoader.Code:cd <<pathToMountedDVD>>
mkisofs -l -sysid "PLAYSTATION" -o /tmp/ATVOF4EuroFullForHD.iso .
hi barf,
on the picture below you can see the setting of the HDLoader.
I have tryed two images:
first the original DVD9 and then a DVD5 (i got it from the net) image.
Both images are working with these settings and this loader.
(maybee you´ll try the loader in the attachment?)
Before I changed the setting, both images don´t work for me!!
good luck

I tried your loader and two images, the images must be 2 copies of the same image, none of them work :-(
Indeed, i have the DVD9 version also, and these settings did not work for me.
I see that u have customized your HDLoader.
perhaps u have used special and or different settings then (my) 'standard' HDLoader ?
Also, are u sure u have the DVD9 version? is it ~7 GB ?
*EDIT*
Ooops, so thát was the loader u mean in the attachment, lol :)
trying right now...
*UPDATE*
Nope, did not work for me, black screen after some commercials and stuff.
Did u copied the game with HDLDumb or with Winhiip ?
I installed the DVD5 image with HDLDumb and the DVD9 with HDLoader, or also with HDLDumb. (sorry, I´m not sure!)
And yes, I am sure I have the DVD9 image too.
image DVD5 - 4,31 GB (4.634.804.224 Bytes)
image DVD9 - 7,48 GB (8.039.792.640 Bytes)
So I don´t understand, that the game doesn´t work, because for me both images are working now on two different PS2 from HD. :chinscrat
hdl_dump 0.8.5/6 was what I tried...
Pal !!
