187 Ride or Die problems

I was wondering if anyone has gotten "187 Ride or Die" to work from the HDD? I can get the game back-up disk to run but when I use HDLoader I just get a black screen.

Any help is welcomed. Thanks

Confirmed, patch 0.7c with mode 3, works, and it even has a 60hz selector also. woo

Maybe your download iso is corrupted, hey, don't get scared. You just have to rebuild it like I did, and then it will work. This is because there was a corrupted release running around.

works fine for me.. enable the option to kill HDA/HD Loader on game load (seems to be mode 3 on hdloader)

I get the black screen of death either way, with no mode or mode 3. Now what about that corrupted release of it? Anyways when I brought the .iso into hdl_dumb it wouldn't give me a start-up code in the Start up box. Any help would be appriciated.

I had to rebuild the ISO as WinHIIP showed the ISO was 0MB but after that it works fine HDL 0.7c no modes enabled. (I've only played a few mins but so far mode 3 is not required for me?!).

i've searched, but I can't find good instructions on how to rebuild this game. I tried one general method i found, but i still can't get the game to run.

Can you tell me what you did please?

winhip wouldn't install the iso, said something about it being the wrong format so i rebuilt it using isobuster and cdgenps2

mount the iso with daemon tools/alcohol 120% and copy all the files to a folder on your hdd

start isobuster, it should detect the virtual drive with the mounted iso, if not select the drive, right click on the red iso icon and select DIRECTORY TREE AND FILE INFORMATION/ LIST TREE-INFO (IN TXT FILE)/LBA, RELATIVE PATH, save the filelist in the same folder as the game files

run cdgenps2, click ADVANCED/IMPORT TREE FILE FROM ISOBUSTER and select the filelist, then select IMPORT BY LBA

click the IMG button, change the file type to iso and click save to build the new iso

the game works ok for me using hdl 0.7c and kill hdl on launch set in the modes
