    xbtool for the xbox is a simple tool. you can change several settings and apply patches.

    i think a program similar for the ps2 would be real beneficial.

    all the coders should combine their works to make ultimate tool.

    so it can patch your gfx to hdloader, lba48, v9+ cd probs, hdloader boxes, and so much more

    most people have to patch the elf every time, and have multiple elfs for their own gfx, and for the lba48 etc;

    Unfortunately, it doesnt work like that at all.

    XBox is easy coding, copy & paste, etc, so most people are willing to share their code considering that more than half of it is not even close to being original. The PS2 Scene however, will never work that way because coders are greedy. But in some ways I respect them for that considering the amount of work they put into coding even simple things, due to the ps2's complete difference to anything 'code normal.'

    This site is against people who requesting or demanding money for their work, despite the fact that this site does not house any real coders. So they are not feeling what the coders feel, instead they assume. But this site is good for help.

    Now, I can also tell you are just looking to go for a cobination of all the hdloader modders to come together. That might be possible, to integrate all the new features into one easy executable win32 program. I guess someone would have to get all of the hexors and decompilers together and have them think about this between themselves.

    To be honest, HDLoader works fine on its own. The only real improvement in it is the 48LBA, and man I wish I knew about that last month before I bought a new harddrive.

    whoa, thanks for long reply.

    well, thats why the xscene is so great, cause people share. It looks much better, and the programs are great.

    The ps2 programs are so ugly and fugly.

    I just found out the lba48 is non functional. I guess you are not angry about the hdd.

    batch files make it alot easier to patch your elfs though... hdloader can't really be modified by source since if the source was released sony would have some fun suing! which is a shame really... the xbox scene has been able to thrive since it's all legal. (well a large part of it anyway)
