I read somewhere, you needed a 40 gb ++ hd, and that Seagates were reported to have errors or something. I would just like to report that I formatted a 10 gb seagate straight from an xbox with HDAdvance2.0, and then backed up sanandreas and it plays great. I didnt change any modes or anything like that. I will report with updates if this is some sort of fluke.

also I might note that my hdadvance disc does not spin the whole time, because I simply eject it after I launch the game.

I am getting a 200 gb hd tomorrow, and being that its after 10: pm here in az there was no other way for me to test my new hdadvance2.0 dvd!!! Also I am just wondering why my seagate runs gta sanandreas just fine with out any mode selection, or whatever. I dunno I am a newby when it comes to this ps2 scene, I am all about the xbox.

Well, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas doesn't require any modes at all so it doesn't really matter. Usually Seagates work with the PS2 some don't, some rare WD work, but Maxtors work 100%. If your PS2 is modded check out the HDLoader tools made by Zer0-X and our resident coders.

It's not as much as it sounds...
320gb would store... maybe about 80-100 DVD games.
Not that much considering how many good PS2 games there actually are.
