Hi, i have asked like one question here before, and now i want to know a few more things. i was wondering how exactly this works. in a modded xbox it boots to a hacked bios and allows unsigned code to run. thus allowing to have software "installed" and be able to run games directly off hdd.

now to my questions. whenever you put a modchip in a ps2 does this allow you to increase the hdd size? is there a size limit?

do i have to use a memory card? i remember hearing something bout a memory card a while back.

is there a new homemade dashboard? i know for xbox there are quite a few?

are there any specifics about ps2 and modding? like, so and so modchip wont work with so and so ps2 or hdd or etc....

i appreciate any and all help. i am a ps2 noob.

what you asked are all this forum is discussing so there is too much to say. Maybe you want to try 'search' first.

yes and no, it depends on software used.

yes and no, it depends on which way you want to boot your ps2 and whether you have a mod.

    no. or is there any?

definitely yes. you have to know your mods and ps2 version to get most out of the chip you pay for. however there are a handful of 'universal' mods practically compatible with every ps2 unless you buy one of China version or something like that...
