to elaborate on yahooadam's original thought:
this assumes your drive even is spinning up and not dead (please tell me you tested for this).... most enclosure's i've encountered have external power supplies, make sure you're using it if it needs it. also assumes winxp (and maybe 2k)
-if you plug it in, and your device manager shows it there, then you're ok.
-if WinHIIP doesn't see it, consider that you've messed something up for a partition, and all data is lost
-right click on My Computer, click manage| disk management. You should now see all physical and removable disks on your system. delete the partition or create one on the usb drive of type ntfs.
-put drive back in ps2, boot up HDL/HDA, and let it format it...
-retry to put your games back on
its works in the PS2 and no windows doesnt give it a drive letter.
