In the next HDLPatch version I'm going to change how the new modes work so that Crazyc's datefix 1, DVD9, network and Gradius V patches are enabled by default so if some program resets the setting you only need to reconfig very few games.

And I was told that the installation of DVD9 games from disc is not as easy as it sounds like so you need to copy it with some other tool to your HDD first and then transfer it.

Where can I get version 1.7.1? Is it an official release by GadgetFreak? Why is it not in the first post of this thread? And on PSXForum I only see 1.7, not 1.7.1

Everytime I install anything with WinHIIP 1.7.1, it resets the settings for the date fixes and network support in HDL.

Also installing from CD/DVD is also broken in 1.7.1 as Zer0-X pointed out earlier, the TOC size is incorrect and can be a huge number which in turn causes WinHIIP to return the error that there isn't enough space on the HD to install the game.

I tested the extra mode bits, they only get reset when you edit the settings, otherwise they are preserved.
I have just upped V1.7.2 in which I have reverted the CD / DVD code to an older version and added the ability to display all 32 mode bits in the table.

its actually a bit of a smart remark regarding GadgetFreak's double standard and stupid shit he posts in his about box about us. He can keep this shit app and the rest of his updates at the "unbiased" site. He seems to forget that these are the same guys who released usbadvance with our name on it for sjeep and also release breaking toxic news for them. Very unbiased alright. Whatever, he can say what he wants, in the end he is just another ass****ed victim being used to make sjeep more money just like the rest of them.

whatever, its not even worth mentioning anymore. Their "unbiasedness" is just as apparent as our "agenda".

Really, it can't be because it says something about forums who "censor" stuff. As far as I know, we've been posting pretty much everything that comes out here for our users. If that makes us the bad guys, so be it. Seems other people now have an elitist mentality and only want to share things in certain places with certain people.
