Win PS2HDD Explorer?
is there such a tool that can copy files to the /BOOT directory after formatting it with WinHIIP?
i need to copy some files so i can boot ExecFTPs using DEV2 mode since:
1) i cant boot of the cd/dvd drive (laser problem)
2) i can boot hdl of the mc but since its patched with /N + /S it will load any game/app into black screen as reported by others
i have no way to "dump" files into the mc or hdd so im hoping a win/dos type app to dump files inthe the /BOOT partition would be a way...
ps2menu is good for that. that is the oldest, but still most reliable program for managing files on all devices out at this time. More applications are popping up, but are still in the early stages.
Get ps2menu from: http://ps2dev.org
I'm not very into those things but I think PS2MENU is an APP for PS2 ... and.. t0n, you should read again because he asks a way to add files on his PS2 Formatted HDD using his PC
(why do I feel like the peoples here are not interested at all in helping others? -.- ..)
Btw, I'm sorry, I can't help you since I don't own a NA.. and that I only have 2 Western Digital HD that doesn't fit in the NA..
other than execftps, the only way to do it is with winhiip, which only does hdloader partitions.
sorry, yeah i see that now. i just read the first sentence and assumed what he was asking, bc i am usually in a hurry. At least I take the time to try and help. (bc thats all i come here for)
I have no idea then. If your drive doesnt work, and your not modded, and do not already have files in place to get you going (like execftp) then you are basically out of luck. The only thing I can suggest is one of the new applications comming out, like ps2os, i THINK, has usbkey reading. Meaning you can transfer the execftp files from the usb portable device, onto your boot partition in the same program. The problem here is that I do not think that the program can do it as of yet. Which means your going to have to wait.
