There is a file that comes with Exec FTP where you can specify IP, Gateway, etc.. it's in this file that you should put "mode1" (mode2 is there by default).

lol it's even harder to understand than with an xbox.. I can connect my pc to the ps2.. I see the mc folder.. I have like mc0 thru mc15 .. In all pairs (0-2-4-6 etc) I had those '\' folders and files

I proceeded to delete them.. Uploaded A fixed copy of dms explorer.. made a execftps folder in mc0/BOOT folder.. and copied the files to it.. made the menu.txt and copied it to mc0/BOOT folder.. now.. dms explorer boots allright.. can't see execftp anymore on the ps2 browser.. and the dms explorer I manually installed was supposed to have an icon wich I don't see either (I did sent it on the mc )... could anyone give me some clarifications?!

by the way... I like it this way.. I mean if it was too easy.. where would we help each other and discover stuff on our own?!

    Hi Kasty,

I can connect fine to my ps2 using flashfxp and v61 of ExecFTPs but i cannot see anything within the folders.
I just get the directories below with nothing in them. Any ideas why ??

If you see all the devices by FTP it means that the connection works well. Make sure you switched off the PASV option in FlashFXP. And even if you think that your firewall is properly configured, try to switch it off for a while. If none of those solve it, most likely is a software problem in ExecFTP, try other versions.
