    I have searched EVERYWHERE and I can't seem to find a link to download the server program to run on my PS2 in order to transfer games to HDD using HDL_Dump.... All pages seem to point me to the official hdl_dump page (http://hdldump.psx-scene.com/) but that page doesn't tell you where to get the server from... I tried searching forums, google, everything...

    Can someone please tell me where to get the latest/best server program from? Thanks a lot!

    Thanks a lot kidman64

    I need to have a settings file somewhere on my memory card (IP address, gateway, etc), right? What format does it have to be and which folder do I save it in?

    I can figure out all the networking settings myself, I just need to know how to format the text (or .dat) files in this case and where to save them.

    from hdl_dump site:
    Installing a game via TCP/IP network
    load HDLD_SVR.ELF on the Playstation 2 console;
    NOTE: There are far too many ways to do this, so, please, use Google to locate the most convinient one. IP address is configured via mc0:SYS-CONF/IPCONFIG.DAT and the proper format is "ip_address networking_mask gateway_ip" (w/o quotes). The default configuration is "192.168.0.10 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1".
    also, according to the changelog..
    server will look for IPCONFIG.DAT at mc0:/B?DATA-SYSTEM/, too
    btw hdl_srv is here
