OK, I FINALLY got my network together, ...not bad for my first one, the manual way with the ps2 and all, I've never done broadband until now. I got EXECFTP and FlashFTP together, and got FapLink working right, now I can rip down iso's from the pc to the ps2 via the network adaptor, but is that it? is there any way to EXTRACT images from the ps2 back to the pc? any way to zip them through the internet? this seems like it could have possibilities, I was honestly expecting a bit more, for the trouble it was to set up.

right now you can't extract games through the network. I hope it's in the works though, otherwise its back to to hdl_dump for that.

hdl_dump is a program for installing/extracting games to/from the ps2 hdd by connecting it to your pc.. i no longer use the program because it corrupted my drive.. luckily winhiip v1.6 was able to recover the drive and save the games on it.

i think the first thing faplink needs to address (aside from PAL issue) is the speeds.. 700k/sec is bloody slow for games/appz below 256mb..

now wen need a super secure secret net server (in Armenia, or someplace like that) we can dump our stuff... and download it later... phaze 3 of operation "bring sony back down to earth, if we can't just break them"
