What would I use it for?

Hi,

I'm pretty new to this HD stuff, and I'm not exactly sure what I could use a PS2 hard drive for, except from storing my games. I live in Pakistan, and all we can buy here are fake games

, does the hdloader thingy still work?

Aside from a few scattered applications, the main use of the ps2 hard drive, outside of official games is for hdloader.

you can also play around with the homebrew software that can run from HD, and stuff like that

No, you said...wait...that is what you said.

Anyway, as long as your ps2 can read the fakes, hdloader will store and load them just like regular original ps2 games.

OK, thanks for the help, I just think it would be a cheaper option to buy a 80gb hd for like $30 instead of getting my laser fixed in few months, thanks
