what hard drives fit the network plug on the old ps2s??

Maxtor is good

If you cut away some of the NA shielding (I used cutting pliers) you can fit WD drives just fine. Most people aren't comfortable doing this, understandably, but to agree with NÂ£TMÂ£Ã‡H Maxtors are an excellent fit.
