Hey Omegatron.. you seem extremely knowledgable about this stuff so I was wondering if you (or anyone else) could help me out.

It would be perfect if I could play them from the hd since I'm starting to have problems with my ps2 reading discs but I'd be more than satisfied with having to run them off DVD.
For example, I'm trying to get UEFA Champions League 2004-2005 (PAL import) to work correctly right now. I've tried the two pal to ntsc patchers I could find (ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix and the adrenaline patcher); the adr pathcer works except for leaving the picture off center, the other one doesn't even boot if you have it fix the y-offset. My TV doesnt have any adjustments so I can't slide the screen up that way.
I've heard that both the new swapmagic 3.3 and DVDLoader7 can boot PAL games without patching and even mixed rumors about them being able to force the games into full screen and fix the centering problem. Do you know if this is the case? If it is, do you know of any exploits that would allow me to use this to run the game off the hd?
Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated!!
