Is there a way to format the Sony PS2 hard drive to use as a regular PC hard drive? I would like to just be able to use the Sony drive as a regular drive, but it doesn't recognize in Windows (yet).
    Thanks,
    BL

This is assuming you have the hard drive installed in your pc and you have winxp.

    -Go to control panel
    -Click on administrative tools
    -Click on computer management
-Under storage, click on disk management
-on this screen, you should see the hard drive under the name of disk1 or something other than disk0
-right click on the partition and format

You should be able to use it now. I might have forgotten some steps though.
