    No. HDLoader uses an internal IDE HDD that gets connected through the network cable or HD Connect (on certain slim PS2 versions).

    USBeXtreme uses a USB hard drive that gets connected through the USB port. It also uses a different formating that HDLoader. The drives are not interchangeable.

    HDLoader supports a lot more games than USBeXtreme with a lot faster loading times.
