Upgrading to a bigger HD
Upgrading to a bigger HD –
Hi. I have a matrix infinity + v9 with a 250GB maxtor.
my old hd was 120gb with an old hdl running off the infinity manager. Since I upgraded to a bigger HD, I uploaded a hda.elf with the lba patch. The problem is that the HDA does NOT run ANY of my games, which run good with HDL. The catch here is that my HDL being old, recognizes only 120gb of the new disk and sometimes, the games do not load at ALL!
So. Any suggestions guys? Could somebody email me a good copy of the new patched HDL? (email@example.com)
It is really frustrating when my games run 1 out of 5 times, even with the old HDL...
Any help will be Greatly appreciated.
PS I am using Winhiip 1.66 to transfer my original games. never used hdl dump. All of my games are original copies.
Thank you all,
Judging from the last thread you had....you're not too bright are you?

AFAIK) Then try and reinstall the games. Sorry I can't help out much more, just that I can't think of anything really wrong..... except that perhaps the HDA you have isn't patched properly or something.
V7 PS2 Messiah 2 Pro Mod

Ext HDD Mod
Works Like a Charm! Already filled up all 183 gb!
I formatted my HD using winhiip (latest version) and I applied the 48bit lba patch.
When I boot from the infinity manager the old HDL my games run ok, but the HDA sees all the 250GB without being able to boot any of my games.
thanks for your help
