transfering files

Hey,

im really new to this PS2 HD thing. Any kind of links that can give me info would be great.

i just ordered a 10gb maxtor drive (to test with), HD loader, and a network adapter for my PS2.

i really wanted to play MP3s on it but it seems that its very difficult. so i guess ill start with the basics.

how do i transfer games/movies to the PS2? do i have to format the HD some how when it arrives before i plug it in?

what kind of files can i play?

hdloader will do everything for you including format and install games.

if you are interested in homebrew, make up a cd image containing launchelf and install it to hdloader. that's the easiest way to get started.
