Transfer a 30gig HD to a 160gig HD –
so im here trying to copy a 30gig HD that is formatted by HDLoader & has games on it to a new 160gig HD. (i understand that i may only be able to use 137gigs with HDLoader)
im trying to use Winhiip but it seems that it is not a bootable disc. how am i to use this program to copy stuff over?
i have no spare hard drive to run windows off.
im on AIM:markdelete1 if you wanna IM & help me out.
I've never done it, but have you tried formating the HD to a PS2 format before copying. Oh, and you can use the whole HD if you patch your HDLoader copy. More on that in other threads.
connect both drives to your PC, ps2 format the 160gb hdd w/ winhiip, transfer the images from one disc to the other using winhiip, make sure you set your 160gb drive to 48bit, its in the options for winhiip
