I installed a 160GB drive in my PS2 today using the network adapter and every time I boot the unit into ToxicOS, it keeps telling me that the hard drive is not formatted.

I reformatted it after installing a couple of games on it and now the games are not showing up on the Games tab any more and every time I boot the unit, it keeps asking me to format the drive.

The drive is showing up, the drive is working as I'm trying to dump games so I'm sort of at a loss as to which way to go. Anyone got any suggestions?

    Yea, did that.

Also swapped the hard drive to an old 40GB unit I had lieing around and it did the same thing.

Pulled the 160GB drive out and put it in my PC and checked it with Winhiip and it showed errors. Reformatted it with Winhiip, everything looked great.. put it back in the PS2 and "This drive needs to be formatted"

I've pretty much come to the conclusion that my network adapter must be flaky so I'm going to pick up a new one today.
