Is there a way to test..

Is there a way to test the hdloader(133mb) cracked version on my PS2 to see if it actually loads, if I only have the following things:
1)PS2 w/fliptop
2)Hardrive
3)SwapMagic

I'm still waiting for my Network adapter to arrive, and i want to see if the program that i've downloaded will work.

It should load up, but then hdloader should say that it doesn't detect a hard drive.

it won't load up without cdloader though, as far as I know. It's easier to just use it as an exploit. one disc instead of three.

why do i need cdloader, when i have swapmagic 2.0?

btw, i've tried to run hdloader cracked using swapmagic but it doesn't load.
The border does turn blue though, but don't know why it doesn't load. maybe it only loads if there is a hard drive present. Can anyone confirm this>

That's why you need the swapmagicfix, which is cdloader.
