Ok i have the exploit and everything working fine. I ran out of space on my hdd. I don't want to delete the games off my hdd. I want to transfer some of them to my pc so i can burn them to a dvd-r. Is there a way to do this(without having to install my ps2 hdd inside my computer. I never opened up my computer and im scared i might break or disconnect something)?? I install games on my ps2 hdd with hdldumb. I can browse my hdd with that but i can't transfer games back to my pc. Only install games from my pc to my hdd.

you can buy a USB2.0 3.5" Hard drive enclosure
they range from $20-60+
basically what you do is put your Hard drive into the enclosure and then plug in the power and the usb cord, it transfers relatively fast (~5mins approx) compared to dumping via the playstation
you might have to use winhiip (a windows executable and not an .elf) to transfer because im not sure hdl_dumb can do it.
when you are buying one, consider the build of quality and heat dissipation method, and cost of course.

You got what? Do you mean you got the HDL_Dump GUI? If so, then are you saying that the transfers from PS2 to PC isn't working? You have to make sure that your configuration for both the PC & PS2 match!
cause hdldumb works fine.
Are you talking about games transfers over the network to PS2? Thanks!
