Is there any way to install games on the HDD without.... –
1) Installing it from a Disc in the PS2
2) Without removing the harddrive from the PS2
Help appreciated. I don't wanna have to unload my Harddrive, open up my comp, connect the hard drive etc. every time I wanna install a game on my PS2.
Thanks in advance, guys!
faplink young man, faplink.
its not very fast, and i think there is a limit to the size of the iso you can install, but it works. i only use it when installing disc images that are 512mb and below.
2gb is the size limitation.
I know that this doesn't exactly answer your question. But what about using an external usb HD enclosure.
So you remove the HD from the PS2
through it in the external HD enclosure
connect the enclosure to your PC via USB
For me the the worst part would be to open the PC up each time...
I know that there are a few people on here that use this method.. Can anyone post tips on select an external hd enclosure, i belive that they are all pretty much the same.
i installed a 4gb game wit hd dump :-p (used wit the gui thing) it STARTED to go fast like 1.5 mb then after around 1/2 it started to only go like 500kb >_< heh
anyways after like an hr or 2 it was completed lol ^_^ howeva hd_dump says it's like 2gb and sometihng while hdlloader and advance days it's 4 gb :-p
anyways it plays fine (not shure cause i didn't beat it yet) lol
the game is def jam fight for ny :-p
