I was wondering if there were any demos out there that come as an extra on another game that are playable. I am asking this because I've noticed that some games, like NFS:U, have demos as a bonus but you get a black screen when trying to play them. I'm trying to get some info on this because there's a demo of Tekken 5 bundled with Death By Degrees that I'm wanting to get my hands on. Any help appreciated.

I've tried the T5 demo from the HD, the sound messes up after a few seconds ingame then completely cuts out no matter what mode.

Looks like HD Loader isn't fully compatible with the game/demo. I only hope that the same problem doesn't happen with the full version of T5.

Hmm, I wonder if the God of War demo work. BTW, I tried a lot of demo off HDD, and most of them works. So maybe. I'm currently playing the DMC3 demo.

Yes, there is a way to play a game off of the HD with codes. Go to this thread to read more about it: http://psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28050 (Patching AR Max Cheat Codes in ISO & play using HD Loader !!!). I have a Gameshark 1.9 and Codebreaker 4 and was trying all day to get it to work but wasn't able to.

Does anyone know if its possible to just edit the game itself so that you don't have to load cheat software at all?

BTW, here is a list of codes that I found-

    First ARMAX codes from codejunkies:

i didn't have any problems using the old method to do it (putting armax and t5 demo in the same iso, renaming the system.cnf and pointing the slus file to the new one so it loads that after armax is done) i guess it's kinda ghetto, but works fine.

at any rate, as mentioned, the sound in the t5 demo does not like the hd at all.

edit: here's the thread where the method i used was found http://forums.psxforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=25127
