Seems to be incompatible with HDL. Tried all modes and all resulted in BSOD.
Oddly enough the Japanese version of this game Tenchu: Kurenai, is compatible with HDL.

Tried the Soul Calibur II method of injecting CDLoader into the ISO but still resulted in BSOD.

Setup: HDL with date/time patch #1 on MC
    No chip
    120 gb maxtor

No hope? It's too early to say as this game barely came out. Maybe a person with more knowledge will take a look into it and make a patch or a hex edit fix for it.

    Doesn't work for me too

I'm going to try to rebuild the ISO with DVDgen as harmon says. Hope it works!

    EDIT: Didn't work

Hope someone gets a fix for this game soon, i was waiting for it really excited

BTW, i've got a 50hz tv. Seems to change to 60hz in a black screen for a moment, just like has to be because the game is NTSC (i live in spain), but quickly changes again to 50hz and BSOD.

so take the jap and usa versions and compare the boot up files. they should. if they only differ a little then try using those few jap files on the usa disc.
