That's right, you heard it here.

Before I go any further I'd like to state that Teclis had no hand in this, and I hope working with him previously hasn't tarnished my reputation or image as a member here...also (<G>, if you're listening) I'd like to second having Teclis banned.

What you need to do it:

-FAPLink or similar (for DVDRiPs--more on this later).

-Copy of Swap Magic 3 ver3.3 CD version (that's the latest build, folks, not to be confused with the Piece of shit that is 3.2).

    -PS2 (swap-capable).

    How to do it:

-Pop in your CD version into your computer and copy the modules folder, SLUS and the SYSTEM.CNF (you shouldn't have any problem directly copying these files from the disc)--leave the dummy files.

-Download dummyfile (available at the bottom) and create a 620, 700, 800, or 900MB (700, 800, and 900MB for FAPlink or HDtransfer programs only) dummy and rename it to the dummy contained in the CD version.

-Download CDGENPS2 (available at the bottom) and compile an ISO or BIN image out of the Swap Magic files.

-Burn or transfer the image to your HDD (if you transfer the image using a transfer program, make sure it's set as CD transfer)

    Usage

    For CD imports & backups:

-Fire up HDLoader however you boot it (be it exploit or other), swap in your disc and either use normal or special boot method.

    For DVDRiPs:

-Depending on the size of the Dummy file you used when making your image, you can boot DVDRiPs up to 920 MB (I'm sure you could go up to a gigabyte, but to my knowledge there aren't any DVDRiPs bigger than 900MB) simply by booting Swap Magic from HDLoader and swapping in your disc.

    For DVD backups/imports:

-Boot Swap Magic inside of HDLoader and hit the eject button. Insert a high ToC DVD and wait for it to refresh, then swap in your DVD backup and USE SPECIAL BOOT.

    Enjoy, guys. : )

    -Frank

Hey, at least I don't pretend to know something about programming and make up bullshit. I do what I can with what I know, and you known what? I think that's GOOD ENOUGH for others...and <G>, I'll agree his bullshit is pretty cunning; he almost had me bought. BAN HIM.

I'm as baffled as you are, but trust me: it works. Not only does it boot but it will run the swapped-in disc.

firstly, it's on HDLoader, so convenient for travel, and secondly, you can directly swap in DVDRiPs without the need for Breakerpro
