Thank you dlanor... I am spend hours traying to find unpacked hdloader.elf and aftre your help I am get it in 2s..
Hey, this is not a competition.
I don't care about being 'The Best', and I never claimed that my BATs are so either.
I do care about being good at what I do, and trying to make good stuff as well,
but when/if others do better all I want to say is: "Congratulations !"
So, congratulations to you then, for being happy with your own BAT.
(I'm not judging it either way, never having seen it.)
As for the lack of 'simplicity' in my BATs, there are very good reasons for at least
some of that. You see, there are many different ways of launching a BAT, and the
Windows OS uses inconsistent rules for what the 'current directory' will be when the
BAT starts working. That is why each BAT sets up the path explicitly, so that the
result will be identical regardless of the launch method.
However, you are incorrect in saying that I forgot 'echo off'.
All three of my BATs use that command, but only for the section whose echoes
I wanted suppressed. I happen to like a clear indication of the startup and
termination of each unit (be it a program, a BAT, or whatever), and therefore
I didn't suppress the echo of the REM lines at start and end of each BAT.
I'm glad to have been able to help you.
Giving such help was my only reason for making the release at all,
so it is gratifying to know that it worked out as intended.
Best regards: dlanor
hehe i was just making a joke :P competition is good anyway
the versions i have have no @echo off.. maybe i downloaded an old version or something. i'll redownload when i get home.
Does this unpack the new USBADVANCED ELF file?
I´ll give it a try. Thanks for the quicky response.
everytime the file PS2-UNPACKER.EXE is accessed in my system there is a small hang.
I´ve just compressed the GUI Vegeta mentioned and the same happened.
