Success w/ PS2 HDD –

Finally got home and tested out my new way of playing PS2 games. I have a V4 PS2, Swap Magic 3.6 (non-CODER), Seagate 7200.9 500 GB HDD, and NA. I used a Dell 128MB usb pen drive to load uLaunchELF 4.01 and HDL 0.8b. I made a folder "SWAPMAGIC" on the root and renamed the ulaunchelf elf file to SWAPMAGIC.ELF; i also dropped in my hdl.elf in there as well. I booted up the SM3.6 DVD disc and after showing the initial splash screen, my usb pen drive lit up and it automatically loaded to uLaunchELF. I navigated to the mass:// drive and fired up HDL. Success! A very, very convenient solution. No more dealing with disc swapping. And with the help of a USB<->IDE cable, installing games is a cinch.
