Star Wars Battlefront Workaround Tutorial for NOOBS
Star Wars Battlefront Workaround Tutorial for NOOBS –
It seems like ages ago since i cracked Star Wars but some people are still having trouble getting this method to work.
I decided to put together a tutorial which will work for GoldenEye(and probaly others with a similar structure)as well, complete with pictures. It's in PDF format
Hope this helps..........
EDIT:Fixed a misleading sentence about GoldenEye
EDIT:Updated for new version of UltraISO
Also remember to enable any required Modes
Starwars Battlefront PAL/NTSC................(SWBFRONT.ELF)..........Mode3
Metal Gear Solid OPSM Demo NTSC...........(MGS3\MGS3.ELF)........Mode3
GoldenEye : Rogue Agent PAL/NTSC..........(GE2RDVD.ELF)......Mode3
Starwars Battlefront II PAL/NTSC..............(SWBFRNT2.ELF)..........Mode3

I followed your method and all I can get is a black screen.
What's going on???
Did you remeber to enable mode 3?
Yes, I also tried all other combinations... But wait, I could damage the iso image... So I'll try to make a new one.
Anyway, THX for sharing your knowledge about this games & HD Advance
When I tried to use DVD Decoder to put the SWBF on my PC hard drive it didn't make a regular ISO file it made 3 files a I00 file a I02 file and a MDS File. Also I am new to this all. Am I doing something wrong?
well i say just use ultraiso which all u do is take the system .cnf and edit it and add it back in and there u go u have ur self a game that works unless that only works on some games like what happen to me with goldeneye rouge agent
do i have to buy UltraISO? Cuz i really dont want to have to. Is there a different program like it that i can download and use the full version for free?
This wouldnt work for me untill I installed the full size image. Every time I tried to put the downsized image on it froze at black screen. Correct size image works fine with this workaround on mode 3 for me.
it frozes for me too on a black screen. I have used UltraISO and it doesn't work for me with mode 3 enabled. What am I doing wrong? When I decrypt it its about 4,5 GB big but when I open, edit and save it it's only 1,8 GB. How does it work that it keeps the size? I wan't to play it!! ARG
You should be able to extract the system.cnf file from the 4.5gig iso using ultraiso, edit it, inject it back to the iso, install and it should work.
If memory serves me right I used DVDDecrypter to make the ISO then Ultraiso to extract/edit/inject system.cnf then trasferred over network using HDL Dumb.... works a treat on mode 3.
As long as the iso is the full size image you should be golden...
