Mine worked from hdd, but hangs on every battle from dvd

I only had one crash in this game when playing it from HD, and that was during the twirly loading screen for the first battle in Arkives. Rebooted, loaded the save up, got to the same point, it crashed again. Played past it on DVD, after that no more problems.

Weirdest thing: on my second playthrough, from HDD, it didn't happen again. Very strange!

You just needed Mode 3 on for that part(froze at the exact same place, turned on Mode 3 and it worked great).
