at the end of the first disc it will make a save, you load up the 2nd disc, load up the save and you continue
yeah you have to reboot your ps2 between discs...
btw, I had problems with one video which caused the game to hang, if I remember well it was near the end of disc1 (dont want to describe the video to avoid spoil).
same thing with the end of the game, after defeating the last boss, the game hangs...
I had to pass these with the discs inside the ps2, tested with all modes with no results.
did someone experience this too? the discs I used were original american ones, played with european ps2 (must be scph 39xxx or 50xxx I didn't have time for this recently, I forgot...).
Yes, It was noted when the game was first released by other people that it hangs at the end of the first disc during a video.Originally Posted by daaa57150

i completed it and i didn't notice any problem (ntsc version on pal ps2)
that's weird then, what's your ps2 version? and did you make something special with your hdloader (patches or used a special mode...)? was the game an american version? really weird cause I tried 2 games (one owned by me the other by a friend) and on 4 ps2 with every time the same problem
but I don't really care now, I finished the game a while ago...
v6 pal. i used stop disc spinning, date fix #1, no disclaimer, force italian, x,y patches, force ntsc.
then I don't know why it hangs by me and goes well by you...
I have almost the same configuration as you:
stop disc spinning, date fix #1, no disclaimer, force french, x,y patches, force ntsc. only the ps2 I have is more recent, but I tested on 3 others ps2, that must be v6 or v7.
I also skinned my hdloader but I don't think this has something to do.
